Hello all,

One of my friends recently asked for a "cow" card to be made for her so she could give it to her boss.  At first I was thinking that I wouldn't be able to do it as I no longer have any cow stamps but then I found this awesome cow on Teresa's blog - I just HAD to make it.  This is why I love the internet, so many great ideas!

Isn't it Moo-tiful?

Hope you're enjoying your holiday weekend!

I know, I know... when you blog you're supposed to do it on a regular basis. I have no excuses so I'm not going to make one.

Instead, I'm going to share with you multiple of my latest creations as I've been on quite a stamping spree lately.I love them all and I just can't decide which one is my favorite.

Do you have a favorite?

Snow on Friday - Gotta love the weather!

So the rumor is that we're getting snow on Friday... really not looking forward to that no matter what the card below tells you ;)

This card was inspired by the Friday Mashup Challenge post.  My first time trying this one and I have to say I LOVED the sketch this week!!  I think I'll have to add this one to my weekly challenges.

I'm not sure if you can see it on this picture but I used my brayer to roll over the snowflakes and added Iridescent Ice embossing powder to give them a bit more of a pop.

Supplies used (All Stampin' Up)
Stamp Set: Big on Christmas
Inks: Basic Black
Markers: Marina Mist, Real Red, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Marina Mist, Naturals White, Whisper White and Real Red

I hope you enjoyed my take on the sketch!

Mojo Monday - Pun Fun!

I just LOVE this set! It's funny, sweet and reminds me of my guy - he's so PUNny!!

The set is Pun Fun by Stampin' Up (of course!).  This card turned out completely different than I imagined it in my head, originally I planned to use the whale, more guy like colors and googly eyes...  you can't go wrong with googly eyes!  I got my inspiration from this weeks' Mojo Monday sketch.

I know it's hard to tell the colors in the lighting but I used Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Night of Navy.   All the paper is Stampin' Up (no shocker there) and I got to pull out the Big Shot - yet another one of my favorite toys.

Now get to work on your own Mojo Monday card!

A 10 minute card - Just don't tell my boss!

Yah, yah, yah... I know -  I need to post more often.  I promise to get my butt in gear and get posting a lot more often moving forward.

Today's card is a quick card I whipped up for my boss' birthday this week.  I needed something somewhat masculine and James says this card fits the bill...

Once again all supplies are Stampin' Up although the stamp set I used (All About U) is retired.  I was so sad to see this one so as it's one of my favorites. I'm going to cheat tonight and not list out all the supplies but if you want to know just pop me an email and I'll fill you in.

Happy Stamping!

My First Mojo Monday Card!

There are some people that can just look around and be inspired by the things around them... sometimes I need something a bit more obvious.  Mojo Monday - The Blog has that inspiration for me.  Each week a new card layout is posted and people are asked to link a photo of what the layout inspired them to create.  I've always been a bit of a chicken but, in the spirit of trying new things I've decided to give it a go =)

I used the following supplies to make this card:
  • Black, Rose Red and Regal Rose card stock
  • Newsprint DSP
  • Scallop Edge Border punch
  • Print Pattern Background Stamp (now retired)
  • Antique Brads (of course this had to have them... still in love!)
  • Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die for the Big Shot
  • Black Grosgrain ribbon
  • Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon
All these items are Stampin' Up and available for sale through me (with the exception of the Print Pattern background stamp as it's retired).

Hope you enjoyed my creation and be sure to check out Mojo Monday if you're looking for inspiration!
